Microsoft Word 2010: Rotate Page Orientation Between Landscape and Portrait

Have you ever writen a technical document in Word and needed to insert a picture or organizational chart as a appendice to the document?  You probably wrote the technical document in portrait orientation and need to insert the picture or organizational chart in landscape orientation.

The simple way to do this is to put a section break in between the pages you would like in the portrait orientation and the pages you would like in the landscape orientation.  To achieve this, perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the Page Layout tab.
  2. Under Page Setup, click on the Breaks button.
  3. Under Section Break, choose Continuous.

Now, click Orientation, under Page Layout, and choose Landscape and only the page below the section break will appear in landscape orientation.
